01/14/2025 It is with sadness that I am notifying you that on January 13, 2025 the CCGS Board of Directors voted unanimously to close the organization. We are working with an attorney to create a closure plan that meets State of Oklahoma and Federal requirements for closing a corporation. I will be providing you with specifics as the closure process moves along. If you have any questions please contact me via the CCGS email address. If you need to come to the office, please email us ahead of your visit to schedule an appointment. Our office is no longer open for regular hours.
3/3/2025 UPDATE
Dear Members and Supporters,
In keeping with our mission to further genealogical research and education, we have made the decision to donate all of our assets to the Oklahoma Genealogical Society. We are confident that they will continue to uphold the values and dedication we have cherished, and that our resources will help serve a wider audience of genealogical enthusiasts throughout the state.
Thank you all for being a part of this journey with us. Though this chapter comes to a close, the legacy of the Cleveland County Genealogical Society will live on through the ongoing work of the Oklahoma Genealogical Society.
With deepest gratitude,

Park in the first parking lot on the west (Parking Lot #1). South of the parking lot, follow the red brick wall to the Envision Success garden, then enter the garden and follow the sidewalk to our outside door, which is marked with our name, Cleveland County Genealogical Society.
